摘要： An apparatus for manufacturing molten iron according to an aspect of the present invention includes: an iron ore-mixing/pre-reducing furnace that receives and mixes natural iron ore and oxidized iron ore supplied from an iron ore oxidizing-burning furnace, and heats or pre-reduces iron ore using a flue gas supplied from an iron ore reduction furnace; the iron ore reduction furnace that receives pre-processed iron ore discharged from the iron ore-mixing/pre-reducing furnace or partially reduced iron ore, and reduces the iron ore using a reduction gas discharged from a molten gasification furnace; the molten gasification furnace that receives coal and some of reduced iron produced by the iron ore reduction furnace and produces molten iron and a reduction gas to be supplied to the iron ore reduction furnace; and the iron ore oxidizing-burning furnace that receives new iron ore and some of reduced iron discharged from the iron ore reduction furnace and changes the new iron ore into oxidized iron ore including a large amount oxygen by burning the new iron ore and the some of reduced iron with air.

摘要： A method is disclosed for producing cast iron or semi steel with reducing gas in a high pressure refractory lined shaft furnace using minimal or no coke Iron ore and slag are fed into the operative top zone of the shaft furnace while reducing gas which is generated in a refractory lined gasifier using preheated oxygen is fed through tuyeres at the operative bottom and middle zones. The shaft furnace is operated at a high pressure to increase productivity and to facilitate use of the spent reducing gas downstream. Excess oxygen is fed into the shaft furnace to reduce the carbon content in the molten iron and generate semi steel. The size of the furnace is reduced. The method is economical.

摘要： A direct reduction process producing DRI from iron oxide particles by reduction at a about 750° C. with a reducing gas mainly H2 and CO, that also includes CO2, H20, and methane, a the reduction reactor and the top gas effluent from the reduction reaction after cooling/scrubbing is split. The resulting first top gas portion with a first hydrocarbon-containing make-up gas passes through a catalytic reformer yielding an improved hot reducing gas first effluent. The second top gas portion passes through a CO2 removal unit and then with the second hydrocarbon-containing make-up gas passes through a heater yielding a hot CO2-lean recycle reducing gas second effluent. The first and second effluents are fed to the reducing zone of the reduction reactor as the reducing gas reactant. The flow rate of at least the second of the two make-up gases is regulated to control the carbon content of the DRI produced.

摘要： There is provided a method and system for recycling by-products containing large amounts of useful components and discharged in the form of dust and sludge from a coal-based molten iron making process to reuse the by-products in a reduced iron agglomeration process. The system includes: a fluidized reduction furnace reducing fine iron ore; a reduced iron tank connected to the fluidized reduction furnace through a reduced iron discharge pipe for storing the reduced iron and supplying the reduced iron in an agglomeration system; an agglomeration system agglomerating the reduced iron transferred from the reduced iron tank; and a transfer unit transferring compactions of by-products discharged from a molten iron making process through a by-product supply pipe. The compactions of the by-products are supplied to at least one selected from the group consisting of the fluidized reduction furnace, the reduced iron supply pipe, and the reduced iron tank.
