The resin-type light guide plate composition includes urethane-(meth)acrylate oligomer prepared by reacting a reaction product of a compound prepared by reacting divalent polyol and divalent isocyanate with (meth)acrylate monomer including hydroxyl group, hydrogen bond type (meth)acrylate including hydroxyl group or carboxyl group, acrylic monomer having a maximum shrinkage rate of 15% or less, represented by the equation (1): "> Maximum shrinkage rate % = - 2.58 + 3000 * number of meth ⁢ acryl functional groups / molecular weight of acrylic monomer , and a photoinitiator .
The composition can be used for a light guide plate formed by a simple curing process and having excellent adhesion with respect to a base film and adopted to an edge-lit, local dimming backlight unit having a reduced shrinkage rate.

摘要： The invention pertains to a homeotropically oriented liquid crystalline polymer film comprising at least one dichroic dye. This homeotropic orientation along with the presence of dichroic dye makes it possible to employ a different technique for writing out and reading data.
For, in this case contrast is obtained by the dichroic dye contained in the film being aligned in the same direction as the mesogenic groups of the liquid crystalline polymer. In a virgin film the mesogenic groups, and hence the dichroic dye molecules, are oriented perpendicular to the film's surface, and there is only low absorption of the incident light by these molecules. By local heating or irradiation of the film (e.g., with a laser) the homeotropic orientation is converted to an isotropic one. In the case of an isotropically written trace, the dichroic dye will likewise be isotropically oriented, resulting in a substantially higher absorption of the incident light.
The films according to the invention are suitable for use in analogue and digital optical data storage, as well as, of course, combined analogue/digital data storage.

The inclusion of a liquid crystalline polymer in an active hydrogen-containing compound has surprisingly been found to yield significant and unexpected improvements in the physical properties of polyurethane and/or polyurea polymers prepared therefrom. In particular, cellular polurethane and/or polureas made from these solutions have excellent firmness and high moduli.

Satisfied is E 1 /E 2 ≤ 1000, where E 1 represents the elastic modulus of the matrix when the matrix includes the liquid crystalline phase, and E 2 represents the elastic modulus of the matrix when the matrix includes the isotropic phase. Satisfied is σ 1 /σ 2 ≤ 40, where σ 1 represents the rupture stress of the matrix when the matrix includes the liquid crystalline phase, and σ 2 represents the rupture stress of the matrix when the matrix includes the isotropic phase.
