    • A flight conveyor is arranged for conveying a material from one position to another one. The conveyor comprises a frame (1), at least one drive wheel (5) and at least one idler wheel (6) rotatably mounted on the frame (1), a number of segments (3) for supporting the material, a number of shafts (4) for pivotally interconnecting the segments to an endless row which has an upper row part (8) and a lower row part (9) and is running, during operation, over the at least one drive wheel (5) and the at least one idler wheel (6), and a number of conveyor flights (10) for bringing the material along in the conveying direction. The conveyor further comprises that the flights (10) are pivotally mounted on each their shaft (4), that at least one rail (13) is extending between the idler wheel (6) and the drive wheel (5) in an area below the upper row part (8), that at least one slide (11;21), which is mounted on the back of each flight (10), seen in the conveying direction, is slidingly supported by the at least one rail (13), and that a scraper (15) is arranged at the drive wheel (5) for successively scraping off adhered material from segments (3) and flights (10) passing the scraper. The flight conveyor can advantageously be used for conveying products tending to adhere to the surfaces of the segments and the flights since the adhered products are automatically removed when passing the scraper.

    • Disclosed is an item transfer device (10) that has a first end (A) and a second end (B) and includes a first frame (12) defining the first end (A) and a second frame (20) defining the second end (B). The second frame (20) is extractable or extendable from the first frame (12) to allow for an increase of the distance between the first end (A) and the second end (B). The device further includes an elongated conveying structure (30) that is configured to be foldable on itself, the conveying structure having an upwardly oriented article supporting side (31) for the items that are transferred between the two ends (A,B) of the device. The conveying structure (30) has a first end (I) and a second end (II) and is slidable in relation to the first frame (12). The first end (I) of the conveying structure (30) is connected to the second frame (20) and the first frame (12) is configured to receive the second end (II) of the conveying structure (30) and to store a back-folded portion (P) of the conveying structure (30) below the upwardly oriented article supporting side (31) at the first end (A) and to pay out the back-folded portion (P) of the conveying structure stored by the first frame (12) as the second frame (20) is extracted or extended from the first frame.

    • A link plate for a metal waste conveyer is composed of plural flat plates (10), and each of them has its lengthwise opposite side edges respectively provided with plural staggered pivotal members (11) and opposite lateral ends respectively compressed to form a vertical side plate (12). Before the side plate is compression molded, the flat plate has its opposite short sides respectively compressed to form a bar projection (18a) with a preset length and thickness. The central line of the bar projection is parallel to the lengthwise central line of the flat plate and perpendicular to the bending line of the side plate. The bar projection has its opposite ends respectively positioned on the side plate (12) and the flat plate (10), having one end on the side plate located lower than the upper edge of the side plate to form a space (e) therebetween, and the other end on the flat plate extended to a preset length for reinforcing the supporting force of the side plate.
