One form of the container (100) includes a base member (110) with a lid (125) defining a window (130). A flexible laminate (140) with a peelable flap portion (170) is attached to the lid to provide access to the products inside. The flexible laminate includes a first film layer (150) laminated to a second film layer (155). The first film layer includes a first cut line (160) defining a peelable flap portion and the second film layer includes a second cut line (165) offset from the first cut line that defines an opening into the container. First and second reclose surfaces (154, 159) defined between the cut lines on the corresponding film layers include pressure-sensitive adhesive to allow the container to be re-sealed via movement of the peelable flap portion back into engagement with the flexible laminate remaining with the container.

Further, the package has a segmented opening with a plurality of opening windows separated by at least one cross tie that extends from one side of the opening to another side.
