an outer case (2) for storing roll paper;
a base member (32) having an external shape that fits the outer case;
a rod-like member (39) extending upward from the base member (32) and having an outside diameter that closely matches the inside diameter of the hollow portion of the roll paper (R); and
an upper holding member (42) having a concave portion (427) whose inside diameter closely matches the outside diameter of the roll paper (R) and an external shape that fits the outer case (2); and
the upper holding member being (42) placed in the outer case (2) at a location above the base member (32) with the concave portion thereof facing downward.

a rod-like member (39) extending between the lower base member (32) and the upper base member (4), the ends of the rod-like member (39) being secured to the lower base member and the upper base member with being removable from at least one of the lower base member (32) and the upper base member (4), and the rod-like member (39) having an outside diameter that closely matches the inside diameter of the hollow portion of the roll paper (R); and
the lower base member (32) and the upper base member (4) having slits in the outer periphery of the region facing the roll paper (R), or along a slightly larger circumference than the outer periphery.
