摘要： The present invention provides a device for packaging products in a foil package. The device comprises corner forming means for forming a number of folded and attached-together sections of foil material in a foil web, which sections extend outwardly in the longitudinal direction of the foil web, which sections each form a seam on the inner side of the foil web, packaging means, and transport means for transporting the foil web from a supply roll along the corner forming means and along the packaging means, respectively. The device further comprises application means for applying elongate closing elements perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the web to the inner side of the web, wherein the application means are provided between the corner forming means and the shaping means and are adapted to apply the elongate closing elements such that the closing elements cross at least some of the seams formed in the foil web by the corner forming means.

摘要： An improved vacuum storage bag (5) having assorted monitoring means and a method of using the same. The vacuum storage bag is comprised of a flexible impermeable bag that has a storage area and a storage area access opening (35). A valve (55) is provided to the bag that is in fluid communication with the storage area. Resealable sealing means (40) extend across the storage area access opening. The resealable sealing means are capable or repeatedly allowing the storage area to be selectively maintained in a substantially hermetically sealed on unsealed condition. One-time-use sealing means (45) extend across the storage area parallel to the resealable sealing means. The vacuum storage bag further has a radio frequency identification tag (50) that extends substantially across said storage area access opening. In an alternative embodiment of the vacuum storage bag, the radio frequency identification tag is replaced with tamper indicating means (150).

摘要： A closure has at least one channel portion (10) adapted to receive an interlocking profile portion (100). The channel (10) has at least one window (14) permitting visual inspection of a profile interlocked therein. At least one profile is disposed for interlocking with the channel and includes a stem (109) joined to the closure and one or more latching projections (101,102) formed by a frangible connection to the stem, wherein one or more projections are adapted to cooperatively interlock with the channel portion (10) of the closure, thereby sealing the closure. In one closure, a tamper evident structure is included in the form of a slider (600) having a shaver (603) to engage in shaving contact with interlocking closure members when passed along the closure in a direction opposite to the closing direction. The various closure members can include different colors. The closures can be used on bag structures.
