Um an solchen Reifen das Steinefangen zu vermindern, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß die Längsrillen in ihren axial mittleren Bereichen je einen steil zur Umfangsrichtung verlaufenden Versatz aufweisen, während sie in den Extrembereichen in an sich bekannter Weise nur einen spitzen Winkel mit der Umfangsrichtung einschließen.
