    • Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Fahrzeugluftreifens mit einem in radialer Richtung mehrschichtigen Laufstreifen aus einer zumindest einschichtigen Laufstreifencap (3, 3') und einer Laufstreifenbase (2, 2'), wobei zumindest die Laufstreifencap (3, 3') aus einer elektrisch nicht leitfähigen Gummimischung besteht und ein- oder mehrschichtig durch Spulen von zumindest einem Materialstreifen (4, 4') aus einer elektrisch nicht leitenden Kautschukmischung hergestellt wird, und wobei elektrisch leitfähiges Material, welches im vulkanisierten Reifen zwischen der Außenseite des Laufstreifens und einer elektrisch leitfähigen Gummimischung in der Laufstreifenbase (2, 2') oder in einer Schicht im Unterbau des Laufstreifens eine Verbindung herstellt, während des Spulvorganges eingebracht wird.
      Es wird ein Abschnitt der Laufstreifencap in axialer Richtung gespult, das elektrisch leitfähige Material wird auf der Laufstreifenbase (2) oder der Schicht im Unterbau sowie zumindest auf der zuletzt gespulten Windung der Laufstreifencap (3, 3') streifenförmig verlaufend aufgebracht und anschließend wird die Laufstreifencap (3, 3') fertig gespult.

    • Provided is a pneumatic tire including an inner liner layer formed from a laminate sheet obtained by laminating: a sheet made from a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic resin composition which is a blend of the thermoplastic resin and an elastomer; and a rubber bonded by curing to the thermoplastic resin or the thermoplastic resin composition. The pneumatic tire avoids occurrence of cracks near a splice portion of the inner liner layer after the pneumatic tire starts to be used for driving, and thereby achieves excellent durability. In the pneumatic tire, an inner liner layer 10 is formed by lap-splicing end portions of a laminate sheet 1 which is obtained by laminating: a sheet 2 made from a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic resin composition which is a blend of the thermoplastic resin and an elastomer; and a rubber 3 to be bonded by curing to the thermoplastic resin or the thermoplastic resin composition. Here, a sheet with end portions each having a tip subjected to a tip sharpening process is used as the sheet 2 made from the thermoplastic resin or the thermoplastic resin composition which is the blend of the thermoplastic resin and the elastomer.

    • A method of forming a ply member such as a carcass ply for a radial tire, wherein the ply member is formed from a plurality of belt-shaped members (6) having a width obtained by multiplying π inches by an integral number (1, 2, 3, ...) and a constant length.
