    • A discharge device (1000) that has a less power loss and can be made compact is provided. The discharge device includes a low-potential counter electrode (700), a discharge electrode (300), a lower frame (800), a right intermediate frame (500), and a left intermediate frame (600). The counter electrode is constituted by a plurality of flat-plate portions (731), a first connecting portion (733R), and a second connecting portion (733L) which are integrally formed of one conductive plate body. The plurality of flat-plate portions have elongated shapes and form flat plates disposed almost parallel to each other. The first connecting portion connects one-end portions of the elongated shapes of the flat-plate portions. The second connecting portion connects the other-end portions of the elongated shapes of the flat-plate portions. The discharge electrode forms a wire, is arranged to extend among the flat-plate portions in a lengthwise direction, and has a potential higher than the potential of the counter electrode. The lower frame is located below the counter electrode and the discharge electrode, is made of an insulating material, and supports the counter electrode. The right intermediate frame is made of an insulating material and covers a connecting portion (733) of the counter electrode from above. The left intermediate frame is made of an insulating material and covers a connecting portion (733) of the counter electrode from above.

    • Provided is an exhaust gas purification equipment for a diesel engine, such that size reduction of a cyclone can be achieved, and a high particulate matter (PM) collection efficiency and low fuel consumption also can be achieved. The exhaust gas purification equipment has a discharge electrode charging particulate matter contained in exhaust gas of a diesel engine using a low-grade fuel equal to or less than fuel oil, and a tubular collecting part constituting a precipitation electrode for collecting the charged particulate matter, and is provided with a segregating and collecting means of a cyclone system for segregating and collecting the particulate matter which has been detached from the tubular collecting part, and in this equipment, a system is adopted in which a cyclone collecting means composed of one or more tangential cyclones is provided at an exhaust gas outlet portion for high PM concentration provided in the vicinity of an inner face on a downstream side of the tubular collecting part, and in which a high PM concentration of exhaust gas stream discharged through the exhaust gas outlet portion for high PM concentration is selectively introduced into the tangential cyclone according to the flow rate of the exhaust gas.

    • The present invention discloses a filter device. The filter device comprises a housing with an air inlet and an filtered air outlet; a high voltage electric field region provided between two ends of the housing, wherein the direction of the electric field is perpendicular to the direction along which the air is introduced into the housing; an ionization source provided in the electric field region to ionize the ionizable pollutants present in the air introduced from the air inlet and form the resultant ionized pollutants which will move towards both ends of the housing under the influence of the electric field; and a discharging device for discharging the ionized pollutants which have arrived at the ends of the housing out of the filter device. The present invention also relates to a filtering method of using the filter device, and a trace detector. The filter device can be used to ionize the ionizable interferents existed in the air, separate the ionized interferents from the other components of the air under the influence of the electric field, ,and discharge the interferent out of the filter device, thereby reducing the consumption of the consumables or even eliminating the need for consumables. The filter device in accordance with the present invention is applicable to a trace detector based on ion mobility technology for the detection of trace amounts of substances.
