摘要： A catheter assembly or other elongate tubular device for use in establishing vascular or other access within the body of a patient is disclosed. The catheter assembly is equipped with one or more sensors that enable monitoring of one or more physiological aspects of the patient or physical aspect of the catheter assembly itself when the catheter assembly is disposed within the patient. Such aspects include central venous pressure, body temperature, ECG heart signals, oxygen levels, ultrasound data, glucose, etc. The catheter assembly includes the ability to wirelessly transmit or otherwise forward data relating to the detected physiological parameters to another location, such as a patient electronic medical record, smartphone or other mobile device, nurse station, etc. Catheter assemblies configured to detect the frequency of catheter flushing, flushing quality, etc., are also disclosed.

摘要： There is herein described a catheter for measuring a pressure in a cardiovascular system. The catheter comprises: a guiding tube adapted for insertion into the cardiovascular system. The guiding tube defines a lumen for sliding a guidewire therethrough. The catheter further comprises a tip pressure sensor eccentrically mounted relative to the guiding tube and a signal communication means extending therefrom. The tip pressure sensor is for sensing a pressure in the cardiovascular system and the signal communicating means is for transmitting a signal indicative of the pressure to a processing device in order to obtain a pressure measurement reading.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for the manufacturing of a carrying device, a carrying device, a system for detection and a method for detection of at least one physical parameter and/ or chemical composition. A method for the manufacturing of a carrying device for reception of at least one sensor is presented, in which a receiving body with a surface to be coated is provided. In the receiving body, a space is provided which is open on the side of this surface. A second body with a sealing surface is provided. This sealing surface is positioned in such a manner that the surface to be coated of the receiving body is sealed by the second body at least in the circumference of the space in the receiving body. A formable or moldable filling material is provided in the space in such a manner that the filling material forms a surface shaped complementary to the sealing surface of the second body, closing the space. At least the volume of the filling material contacting the sealing surface of the second body is solidified. The sealing surface of the second body is removed from the surface to be coated as well as from the surface provided by the filling material. The surface to be coated is coated such that a membrane is provided, sealing the space.

摘要： A guidewire (36) for a medical device is disclosed. The guidewire includes an elongate body (90), a proximal connector assembly (98), a corewire (52), and a sensor assembly (54). The corewire extends through the lumen. The sensor assembly located on a distal end of the corewire is electrically connected to the proximal connector assembly.
