The cover is pivotally mounted so as to pivot between an open position providing access to the interior volume defined by the product housing for loading a new stack of sheet products and a closed position so that the sheet products are only accessible through a dispensing opening in the cover for one at a time dispensing of sheet products from the product housing. First and second tab-like members project from an interior surface of the product housing into the interior volume. With the cover open, the first and second tab-like members engage in a margin or border area of a front face of the sheet products positioned closest to the dispensing opening to hold at least the engaged part of the sheet products spaced from an interior surface of the anterior cover.

摘要： A lid member for a chute of a napkin dispenser is disclosed that is designed for movement between open and closed positions relative to the chute. The lid member comprises a dispensing opening through which napkins are withdrawn from the chute and at least one transparent window. The at least one transparent window comprises a transparent window disposed on both sides of the dispensing opening. Through each transparent window napkins in the chute are viewable to allow a napkin stack low condition to be observed from outside of the napkin dispenser through the window. The lid member is curved and each transparent window is disposed on a curved portion of the lid member so that, with a front surface of a stack of napkins pressed against a rear surface of the lid member and the dispensing opening, each transparent window reveals an end portion of the stack in a stacking direction of the napkins. A body of the lid member is opaque so that the lid member is partly transparent and partly opaque when viewed from the outside, wherein the body provides an opaque frame about the dispensing opening.

Various embodiments of the present invention can comprise a housing, a separating assembly, a feed mechanism, and an advancing mechanism. The housing can support inner components of the dispenser. The separating member can be controlled by a controller for controlled dispensing operations. The feed mechanism can move the separated napkin or napkins toward a dispensing slot for dispensing. The advancing mechanism can advance the stack of napkins such that, as the stack is depleted from one end of the stack, a remainder of the stack is advanced toward the separating member for dispensing.
