摘要： A contact lens system includes a shared antenna electrode, an accommodation actuator to provide variable optical power, and a controller coupled to the accommodation actuator and the shared antenna electrode. The controller including logic for arbitrating access to the shared antenna electrode between an impedance sensor and a communication circuit; selectively establishing an oscillator with the impedance sensor and the shared antenna electrode; correlating an oscillation condition of the oscillator to an accommodation setting; and adjusting the variable optical power of the accommodation actuator based upon the accommodation setting. An impedance across the shared antenna electrode varies based upon an amount an eyelid overlaps the contact lens system when the contact lens system is worn on an eye.

摘要： A contact lens, system of contact lenses, and a method for detecting eye convergence includes detecting a first inward gaze with first gaze detection circuitry included in a first contact lens disposed on a first eye. A first inward gaze signal is transmitted from the first contact lens to a second contact lens disposed in a second eye in response to detecting the first inward gaze. A second inward gaze is detected with second gaze detection circuitry included in a second contact lens disposed on the second eye. The first inward gaze signal is received by the second contact lens. If the first inward gaze signal is received within a pre-determined time period from detecting the second inward gaze, an optical power for the second eye is adjusted.

摘要： A body-mountable device (110) includes a first layer, a second layer, and an electronic structure (150). The first layer may include a first topographical feature, while the second layer may include a second topographical feature. The first topographical feature and the second topographical feature may be reciprocally-shaped. The second layer may be mounted on the first layer such that the first topographical feature interfaces with the second topographical feature, thereby mechanically securing the second layer to the first layer. The electronic structure, which may include an antenna (170), a sensor (162), and an electronic device (150), may be embedded in the second layer. In an example in which the body-mountable device is an eye-mountable device, the first layer may be a posterior lens, and the second layer may be an anterior lens.
