    • A peripheral wedge seal member (30) is provided for use with a plug connector housing and a receptacle connector housing. The peripheral wedge seal member (30) includes a deformable body (31) which has tapered walls (32) which extend from a thicker first end (34) to a less thick second end (36). Each of the walls (32) has a first surface (38) and a second surface (40) which is angled with respect to the first surfaces. Each of the walls (32) has a compliant section which absorbs forces transmitted by the plug connector housing, the receptacle connector housing or both. Each compliant section has at least one groove (42) extending along the first surface (38) and at least one support rib provided proximate the at least one groove (42).

    • An injection molding machine includes first and second molds each having a first mold portion and a second mold portion used to form a molded part. The injection molding machine includes a platen holding the first mold at an injection station where an injection unit injects injection material into the first mold prior to transferring the first mold away from the platen to one or more secondary stations. The second mold is positioned remote from the platen at the one or more secondary stations where the second mold is cooled, the first and second mold portions of the second mold are opened, the molded part is ejected, and the first and second mold portions of the second mold are closed prior to transferring the second mold to the platen. The opening and closing of the first and second mold portions occurs remote from the platen.

    • The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications connector having crosstalk compensations, and a method of managing alien crosstalk in such a connector. In one example, the telecommunications connector includes electrical conductors arranged in differential pairs and a circuit board with conductive layers that provide a cross-talk compensation arrangement for applying capacitance between the electrical conductors. The circuit board includes conductive paths that provide capacitive coupling and a conductive plate that intensifies capacitive coupling of the electrical conductors. In another example, the telecommunications connector is used with a twisted pair system. Capacitances applied by the crosstalk compensation arrangement between electrical conductors associated with the pairs are provided such that, for each differential pair, a magnitude of an overall capacitance at a first electrical conductor of a differential pair is approximately equal to a magnitude of an overall capacitance at a second electrical conductor of the differential pair.
