摘要： A thermal printer includes a thermal head, a drive data generation unit, a clock generation unit, and a drive data supply unit. The thermal head is configured such that a large number of heating elements divided into a plurality of blocks are mounted thereon, and is configured to input drive data for driving the large number of heating elements to the plurality of blocks in parallel in synchronization with a plurality of different first clock signals. The drive data generation unit is configured to generate a plurality of pieces of drive data for each of the plurality of blocks from print data and to output the plurality of pieces of drive data in synchronization with a plurality of second clock signals. The clock generation unit is configured to generate a plurality of clock signals whose phases are shifted from each other. The drive data supply unit is configured to take in the plurality of pieces of drive data, which are output from the drive data generation unit, in synchronization with the plurality of second clock signals and to supply the plurality of pieces of drive data to the thermal head in synchronization with the plurality of first clock signals.(Figure 2)

摘要： According to one embodiment, an electronic receipt dispensing system includes a transaction system server, a database, and a point-of-sale (POS) terminal. The transaction system server stores registered commodity information in the database for a sales transaction at the POS terminal. The transaction system server generates, after a request for a printed receipt, printing data for a transaction receipt for a completed sales transaction based on stored information in the database, then transmits the generated printing data to the POS terminal. After a request for an electronic receipt, the transaction system server generates electronic receipt cooperation data for a transaction receipt for the completed sales transaction based on the stored information in the database, then transmits the electronic receipt cooperation data to an electronic receipt system server.

摘要： According to one embodiment, a printing apparatus (100) includes a shaft (41) on which an ink ribbon roll (30) with a wireless tag (32) can be mounted. The protective sleeve (50) covers an end portion of the shaft (41) and the wiring (401) at the end portion. A bearing (43) is outside the protective sleeve (50). The bearing (43) is rotatable about the protective sleeve (50). A printing unit (20) is configured to perform printing on a medium to be printed with ink ribbon drawn out of the ink ribbon roll (30).
