    • The present invention discloses a method of paying out a fiber optic cable (122) from a fiber optic enclosure, comprising rotating a cable spool (37,137), which includes a fiber optic cable coiled around a spooling portion (39) of the cable spool, about an axis (77) of a housing of a fiber optic enclosure until a desired length of fiber optic cable is paid out, the cable spool being disposed in an interior region (33,133) of the housing (23,123) and having a termination module (45,149) disposed on the cable spool, the termination module including a plurality of adapters (401) to which fibers of the fiber optic cable are connected; and after the fiber optic cable is paid out, connecting individual connectorized ends of second subscriber cables (126) to the fibers (124) of the fiber optic cable, the second subscriber cables exiting the fiber optic enclosure at a port (136) in a side of the housing.
