摘要： The invention relates to a winding machine (1) for continuously winding a fibrous material web (2), particularly a paper, cardboard or tissue web, onto a winding core (3, 9) into a winding roll (4), comprising a carrier drum (5), which forms a winding gap (7) with the winding roll (4), a mounting, which comprises at least one transport device and guides the winding core (3) along a preferably horizontal guide path, and at least one air pinch-off device (10), which is provided in the lower region of the winding machine (1) and has at least one air pinch-off element, which can be applied, preferably directly before reaching a desired layer thickness (S) of the winding roll (4) and/or preferably directly before dissolving the winding gap (7) formed by the carrier drum (5) and the winding roll (4), to the winding roll (4) by means of at least one movement device acting on both sides to form a pressing gap (12). According to the invention, the air pinch-off device (10), with the at least one air pinch-off element (10.11; 10.12; 10.2; 10.3; 10.4; 10.5), comprises a curved surface (18), which is in contact with the winding roll (4), for forming a planar or approximately planar pressing gap (12) between the air pinch-off device (10) and the winding roll (4) with a linear force (LK) in the range of 0.2 to 6 kN/m, preferably from 0.4 to 5 kN/m, and in particular from 0.5 to 4 kN/m. The curvature (B) of the surface (18) of the air pinch-off device (10) that is in contact with the winding roll (4) has a value ranging from 0.3 to 40 mm, preferably from 1 to 20 mm, and in particular from 2 to 10 mm.
