摘要： The invention relates to a repeater arrangement (10, 20, 30) for amplifying a communication link between a base station (1) and user equipment (2), wherein the communication link comprises an uplink and a downlink utilizing frequencies within a coherence bandwidth. The repeater arrangement (10, 20, 30) comprises: a first antenna (11) for communication with the base station (1); a second antenna (12) for communication with the user equipment (2); an amplifying device (13, 23, 33) operatively connected to the first antenna (11) and to the second antenna (12) for conveying and amplifying communication signals between the first antenna (11) and the second antenna (12), the amplifying device (13, 23, 33) comprising a first signal path for the uplink and a second signal path for the downlink, the first and second signal paths having equal electrical length, in order to affect said communication signal identically in both uplink and downlink, providing same phase and amplitude characteristics to said communication signal. The invention also encompasses amplifying device for use in such repeater arrangement.

摘要： The present invention relates to a solution for efficient handling of radio resources in communication devices in a wireless communication network. In the solution a subset of available antennas to be used is chosen using a method for determining a singular valued metric from a sub matrix related to a full channel matrix. Sub-channel matrices are chosen by deducing the metric and comparing to other sub-matrices. Preferably the best sub-channel matrix is used to determine a suitable full channel matrix to use in communication and this full channel matrix is communicated to each involved communication device.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and arrangement in a transmitter unit of a multi-antenna system for an improved calculating of the antenna weights for a beamforming transmission of data from a transmitter unit to a target receiver unit, whereby interfering signal components for receiving units other than the target receiving unit and the desired communication signal at a target receiving unit are weighted by receiver-specific parameters describing the receiver capabilities of said units in terms of their capability for interference suppression and/or signal enhancement. The invention also relates to a method and arrangement for scheduling of user equipments by using said information on the signal processing capabilities for received signals of each receiving unit.
