    • Provided is a moving unit (1) capable of easily mounting and dismounting a movable body (41) to and from track rails (2A, 2B). The moving unit (1) includes the pair of track rails (2A, 2B), which are laid on a fixed portion at an interval therebetween, and respectively have guiding surfaces on surfaces opposed to each other, a plurality of moving blocks (3A, 3B), which are accommodated and arranged in an accommodating space sandwiched between the pair of track rails (2A, 2B), and are configured to travel on the guiding surfaces of the respective track rails (2A, 2B), and the movable body (41), which is arranged so as to be opposed to the fixed portion across the accommodating space, and is retained by the moving blocks (3A, 3B). The movable body (41) includes a mounting and dismounting mechanism, which is configured to change the interval between the moving block (3A, 3B) to be assembled to one of the track rails (2A, 2B) and the moving block (3A, 3B) to be assembled to another one of the track rails (2A, 2B) to cancel a contact state between the moving blocks (3A, 3B) and the respective track rails (2A, 2B) . The mounting and dismounting mechanism is accommodated together with the moving blocks (3A, 3B) in the accommodating space.
