    • The present invention relates to a tool coupling comprising a holder (1), an adapter (3; 3') for at least one cutting insert for chip removing machining and a separate element (5; 5') in order to detachably connect the holder (1) and the adapter (3; 3') with each other, said holder (1) being provided with a first serration (12), having mutually parallel grooves, and the adapter (3; 3') being provided with a second serration (16), having mutually parallel grooves. The invention also relates to the holder (1) and the adapter (3; 3') per se. It is significant for the tool coupling according to the present invention that the first serration (12) is located in a plane having an extension essentially perpendicular to a longitudinal centre axis (13) of the tool coupling, and that the second serration (16) is located in a plane having an extension essentially perpendicular to said longitudinal centre axis (13).

    • The present invention relates to a tool coupling, preferably for turning tools, the tool coupling couples together a tool body (10; 23') and a part (1; 22'; 22'') which carries or constitutes cutting inserts for chip removing machining, the tool coupling comprising a male part (3; 3'), which has a first centre axis (7; 7'), and a female part (11; 11''), which has a second centre axis (13; 13''), and that the male part (3; 3') and the female part (11; 11'') are intended to be received in each other. The invention also separately relates to a male part, a female part and a cutting insert for chip removing machining. Characteristic of the invention is that the male part (3; 3') comprises a number of first teeth (5; 5') extending in the direction from the first centre axis (7, 7'), which teeth are spaced-apart from each other by a number of first recesses (9; 9') extending in the direction of the first centre axis (7; 7'), which recesses are situated between the teeth (5; 5') and interconnect the same, that the female part (11; 11'') comprises a number of second teeth (12; 12'') protruding in the direction of the second centre axis (13; 13''), which teeth are spaced-apart from each other by a number of second recesses (14; 14'') extending in the direction from the second centre axis (13; 13''), which recesses are situated between the second teeth (12; 12''), and that the driving angle (α) in the contact point between the teeth (5, 12; 5'; 12'') of the male part (3, 3') and the female part (11; 11''), respectively, is in the interval -5° - +45°, preferably -2° - +25°.

    • The present invention relates to a tool coupling, preferably for rotary tools (1; 1'), which are intended to rotate around an axis of rotation (10; 10'), the tool coupling couples together a tool body (5; 5') and a part which carries cutting inserts for chip removing machining, the tool coupling comprising a male part (7; 7') and a female part (9), which are intended to be received in each other. The invention also relates to a male part (7; 7') and a female part (9) included in a tool coupling. Characteristic of the tool coupling according to the present invention is that the male part (7; 7') comprises a number of first teeth (11; 11') protruding in the direction from the axis of rotation (10; 10'), which teeth are spaced-apart from each other by a number of first recesses (12; 12') extending in the direction of the axis of rotation (10; 10'), which recesses also are spaced-apart from each other, that the recesses (12; 12') are situated between the teeth (11; 11') and interconnect the same, that the female part (9) comprises a number of second teeth (14) protruding in the direction of the axis of rotation (10), which teeth are spaced-apart from each other by a number of second recesses (15) extending in the direction from the axis of rotation (10), and that the driving angle in the contact point between the teeth (11, 14; 11') of the male part (7, 7') and the female part (9), respectively, is in the interval-5° - + 45°, preferably - 2° - +25 °.
