摘要： The invention relates to a method for assessing the wear of motor oil using viscosity measurements while taking a replenishing that involves the use of fresh oil into account. According to the invention, the replenishing quantity of fresh oil is firstly detected by the oil level sensor. Afterwards, the oil viscosity sensor determines the viscosity of the oil mixture (θ2) consisting of motor oil and fresh oil. In the evaluating electronics, the quantity (Vn) of the added fresh oil is determined from the difference of the old oil level or of oil volume (V1) and of the new oil level or of oil volume (V2), and the viscosity (θn) of the fresh oil is determined from the viscosity (θ1) of the old motor oil immediately before the moment of replenishing and from the viscosity (θ2) after replenishing. In addition, a hypothetical output viscosity (θ'0) is calculated as a new corrected reference value from the known value of the viscosity (θ0) of the old motor oil in the new state, from the quantity (V1) of the motor oil still present at the time of replenishing, from the calculated viscosity (θn) of the fresh oil and from the calculated quantity (Vn) of the fresh oil.
