摘要： The invention relates to a technique for processing a data stream between a server (40, 41) and a client entity (10, 11) in a packet communication network. The data stream consists of packets that are routed by a processing device. Upon receiving a first packet from the data stream, the processing device implements a phase for observing said data stream, during which the packets of the data stream exchanged between the server and the client entity and consecutive to the first packet are transmitted. If congestion associated with the data stream is detected, the data stream is rejected and the processing device does not transmit the packets of the data stream that were exchanged between the server and the client entity and received after the detection of the congestion.

摘要： The invention concerns a method of routing synchronisation messages in a packet communication network, in which a packet is routed by means of a routing table, referred to as a global routing table. A piece of equipment (12, 14, 16) in the network implements the following steps: detecting a packet carrying a synchronisation message in a packet stream; determining an output port; emitting a packet carrying the synchronisation message at the determined output port, the synchronisation message being modified using a piece of information representing a time of transit in said piece of equipment. A synchronisation routing table, in which at least one association between an input port and at least one output port is memorised, is configured in the piece of equipment. When the packet carrying the received synchronisation message indicates that a routing needs to be carried out by means of the synchronisation table, the output port for this packet is determined by the equipment according to an input port on which the packet is received and by reading the synchronisation routing table.

摘要： A system is provided for determining a propagation time of an optical signal between two devices in an optical transmission network. The first device is designed to determine the propagation time following the transmission of an optical measurement signal in a propagation direction towards a second device using an optical link while passing through an intermediate device, which includes at least one amplifier and one chromatic-dispersion compensation module that introduces a delay, and following the reception an optical return signal from the second device using the same optical link in a direction opposite to the propagation direction. The measurement system is configured to extract the return signal output by the intermediate device; regenerate the extracted return signal; feed the regenerated signal into the optical link, at the input of the intermediate device; and obtain a return signal-reception time while taking account the delay introduced by said compensation module.
