The stirring method for stirring a liquid with an acoustic wave includes a step of asymmetrically emitting an acoustic wave into a liquid, and a step of generating an asymmetric flow into the liquid by the asymmetric acoustic wave, wherein the liquid is stirred with the asymmetric flow.
