    • Provided is a door mirror (1) including a foldable unit (3) to be provided turnably on a stay (8), and a mirror housing (2) for housing the foldable unit (3). The foldable unit (3) is provided with a stopper (13), which comes into abutment against a stopper receiver (14) provided to the stay (8) and which regulates the turning operation of the foldable unit (3). A unit-mounting hole (12) of the mirror housing (2) is cut out to form a positioning portion (21), into which the stopper (13) is fitted. When the stopper (13) is fitted into the positioning portion (21), the foldable unit (3) and the mirror housing (2) are connected to each other in a predetermined positional relationship, and a screw-insertion hole (16) is located so as to face a screw-fixing hole (15). Into the screw-fixing hole (15), a setscrew (17) is fixed through the screw-insertion hole (16), thereby fixing the mirror housing (2) to the foldable unit (3).

    • A joint portion (11) is provided to an upper case (3) of a mirror unit tilting mechanism (1) so as to protrude therefrom. A fitting portion (21) is formed on a pivot plate (5) side so as to correspond to the joint portion (11). The joint portion (11) is formed into a hollow hemisphere shape. A support shaft (13) is provided upright at a center portion of an outer wall (12), and a spherical portion (12b) is formed in the outer wall (12). The fitting portion (21) has a hollow hemisphere dome shape and includes a spherical side wall portion (22) and a ceiling portion (23) which has a wave shape in cross section. The fitting portion (21) is lightly press-fitted to the joint portion (11) through one-touch insertion operation. The fitting portion (21) and the joint portion (11) are swingably connected to each other under a state in which curved surfaces of the spherical portion (12b) and the side wall portion (22) are held in contact with each other.
