摘要： A panel for use in an open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a substantially rectangular panel main body (4) made of transparent material, and at least one elongated reinforcing bracket (5) positioned at least partly in the vicinity of an edge of said panel main body and firmly connected thereto. The panel bracket is made of a material which is thinner than that of the material of the panel main body and includes a structure (11 - 13) to fix the reinforcing bracket to an operating mechanism (6) configured to support the panel and control movements thereof.
The edge of the panel main body (4) comprises at least an inward recess (17) and the reinforcing bracket (5) comprises at least an upward step (18) into the recess. The upward step extends along at least a portion of the recess and is dimensioned to accommodate a part of the operating mechanism (6) under it.

摘要： An open roof system for a vehicle comprising a fixed roof having a roof opening, comprises a semi-transparent panel for closing and at least partly opening said roof opening. A stationary frame may be fixedly attached to the fixed roof. At least one mechanism is provided between the panel and the stationary frame for moving the panel. A roof member protrudes from the fixed roof in an upward direction, the roof member being attached at least partly to the fixed roof. The panel comprises a seal connected at least along the front edge and both lateral side edges of the panel.
The seal is in an air tight engagement with at least a part of a first edge of the roof member in a tilt-position of the panel in which the roof opening is partly open, such that aero-acoustic noises are at least reduced in said tilt-position of the panel.

A drive system (9) is provided for moving the display device (7) at least into a storage position (10) and into an operational position (11) in which the display screen (8) is visible for occupants in an interior space (12) of the vehicle.
The display device (7), in its storage position (10), is moved into a cavity (14) above the headliner (13) and is thus hidden from view and protected by the headliner.

摘要： An open roof construction for a vehicle having an opening (2) in its fixed roof (1) comprises a stationary frame (4) and at least a panel (3) movably supported by the frame and capable of at least partly opening and closing the opening (2) in the fixed roof (1) by tilting the panel with its rear edge up and down.
