摘要： A folding roof for a vehicle having an opening (2) in its fixed roof (1) comprises a stationary part (3) to be fixed to the roof, an adjustable cover (5) supported by said stationary part, which functions as the closure element. The cover is adjustable between a closed position, in which it closes the roof opening, and an open position, in which it releases the roof opening on the opening side. An operating beam (6) is provided on the opening side of the cover, on which cables (10) engage for adjusting the operating beam. A tensioning device (11) is mounted between said operating beam and said stationary part for tensioning the cover during the last part of the closing movement. The tensioning device can be operated by the cables and cooperates with a counter-element (17), which is adjustable in the direction of the movement of the operating beam. The counter-element, which is in the form of a block which is movable along said stationary part, is for example provided with a locking cavity (16) or the like for the tensioning device.

摘要： An open roof construction for a vehicle having an opening in a fixed roof (1) comprises a frame (4,5) to be fitted in the opening of the fixed roof (1). The frame includes a part which extends under the roof of the vehicle, and a cover strip (6) for covering said frame in the interior of the vehicle. The cover strip (6) includes a fixing part (7) of a first material, which is provided with means (11,12) for fixation to the frame, and an adaptation part (8) of a second, more flexible material, which is connected to said fixing part (7) by connecting means (10), and which is provided on the side remote from the roof opening with a projecting flap (9) whose free end can be brought into engagement with the roof trim (2) of the vehicle. The connecting means (10) between the mounting element (7) and the adaptation part (8) is provided at a location inwardly of the outer circumference of said fixing part (7). The adaptation part (8) covers the fixing part (7) completely, seen from below.

The driving means for the closure element (6) are mounted on said lower frame (3). Said driving means are mounted on the lower frame largely outside the projection of the roof opening.

摘要： An open roof construction for a vehicle having an opening (2) in its fixed roof (1) comprises a frame (3) to be secured to the roof of the vehicle, and a movable panel (4) for selectively opening or closing the roof opening. Adjusting means (5; 17) are provided between the frame and the panel, which adjusting means comprise an operating element (6) for adjusting the panel. The adjusting means are adjustable within a normal adjusting range between at least a first position, which corresponds with an extreme open position of the panel, and a second position, which corresponds with the closed position of the panel. An unlocking mechanism (11; 31 - 38) between the panel and the adjusting means functions to unlock and remove the panel. The adjusting means (5; 17) comprise an unlocked position beyond the normal adjusting range, which is to be selected by the operating element, and the unlocking mechanism (11; 31 - 38) is constructed in such a manner that it can only be activated in the unlocked position of the adjusting means.
