    • An exhaust device (20) for a saddle-type vehicle having a pipe section (19) with respect to a vehicle body and housing a catalyzer (C) therein, and a muffler (26) connected to a rear end of the pipe section (19) includes an upstream oxygen sensor (U) disposed on the pipe section (19) and positioned upstream of the catalyzer (C) and a downstream oxygen sensor (D) disposed on the pipe section (19) and positioned downstream of the catalyzer (C). The pipe section (19) includes a larger-diameter portion (61) having an increased diameter for housing the catalyzer (C) therein. The downstream oxygen sensor (D) is disposed in the larger-diameter portion (61). The upstream oxygen sensor (U) and the downstream oxygen sensor (D) are positioned upwardly of a central line (Oc) of the larger-diameter portion (61) with respect to the vehicle body as viewed in side elevation of the vehicle body.
