    • The invention relates to a motion converter for a reciprocating piston machine, comprising a loop-shaped frame (7) which is connected to piston rods (5, 6) of the reciprocating piston machine in order to perform linear alternating movements and which has two sliding bearing surfaces (112) inside the frame which lie opposite each other and which extend crosswise to the direction of the linear alternating movements. A slide block (8) is positioned between these two sliding bearing surfaces and is suitably guided for a sliding movement, the crank pin (9) of a rotationally mounted crankshaft (10) being mounted in said slide block. A predetermined play is provided and is measured in such a way that the slide block (8) can perform a pendulous-type relative movement in relation to the frame (7) in the direction of the linear alternating movements and in dependence on the changes in direction and load. The two sliding bearing surfaces (82, 83) of the slide block (8) are interconnected by a bore system (97, 98) in the slide block (8) in such a way that a lubricant can be forcibly transferred from the gap with the greater load into the gap with the lesser load, in dependence on the changes in load of the two sliding bearing gaps.
