摘要： Clean distillate useful as a jet fuel or jet blending stock is produced from Fischer-Tropsch wax by separating wax into heavier and lighter fractions; further separating the lighter fraction and hydroisomerizing the heavier fraction and that portion of the light fraction above about 475 °F. The isomerized product is blended with the untreated portion of the lighter fraction to produce high quality, clean, jet fuel.

摘要： Diesel fuels or blending stocks having excellent lubricity, oxidative stability and high cetane number are produced from non-shifting Fischer-Tropsch processes by separating the Fischer-Tropsch product into a lighter and heavier fraction, e.g. at about 700 °F, subjecting the 700 °F+ fraction to hydrotreating, and combining the 700 °F- portion of the hydrotreated product with the lighter fraction that has not been hydrotreated.

摘要： An improved catalyst for the production of lube oil blending components, and lube oils, from waxy, paraffinic feeds, a process for producing such catalyst, and a process utilizing this catalyst in the production of lubes. The catalyst is a unitized mixed powder pellet catalyst constituted of a dehydrogenation component, or components, suitably a catalytically active Group VIB, VIIB, or VIII metal, or metals, an isomerization component, suitably an amorphous acidic solid support, and a small pore molecular sieve dewaxing component. The dewaxing component is characterized as a small pore molecular sieve wherein the pore windows are formed by 8 oxide atoms which form the limiting edge of the pore window, each of the oxide atoms constituting one of the four oxide atoms of a tetrahedrally coordinated cluster around a silicon or aluminum framework ion, or atom, each oxide ion is coordinated to two framework ions in these structures, and the pore size of the sieve ranges between about 6.3 Å and 2.3 Å. In preparation of the catalysts, the isomerization component, or the dewaxing component or both, may provide the dehydrogenation function due to the presence of a catalytic metal, or metals, deposited thereon, in which case the components are powdered, the powders mixed together, compressed and formed into solids catalyst shapes comprised of these components. Alternatively, the dehydrogenation function can be added to preformed solids shapes made from powdered dewaxing and isomerization components.

摘要： Nickel-copper catalysts supported on an acidic carrier, preferably containing a binder, are used to hydroisomerize paraffins, particularly Fischer-Tropsch paraffins, boiling at 350 °F+ into lighter, more valuable products. The hydroisomerization process involves introducing the paraffin-containing feed (39) into a fractionator (40) where it is separated into a 350 °F- lighter fraction and a 350 °F+ heavier fraction. The lighter fraction is hydrotreated in hydrotreater (44) and the heavier fraction is hydroisomerized using the nickel-copper catalysts in reactor (54), whereafter the effluents from hydrotreater (44) and reactor (54) are combined to produce a product stream.
