摘要： The present invention relates to apparatus used for separating copper metal wire or other non ferrous metal wire from plastics material sheathing in installations for recycling used electric wire cable or the like, the apparatus being adapted to receive short discrete lengths of the electric cable or the like and includes mechanical beating or agitating elements (20, 24) to subject the short discrete cable lengths to severe mechanical stress whereby the metallic wire or cable is dislodged from the plastics material sheathing, the dislodged metal particles and plastics material particles thereafter being discharged to separating equipment to separate the metallic particles from the plastics material.

摘要： The present invention relates to load bearing pallet constructions which avoids the problems associated with conventional wood constructions, the pallet construction (10) consisting of a plurality of pallet forming members (11,12,13 & 14) arranged in two layers and defining lift fork receiving openings (16) between the two layers, each pallet forming member having a length equal to a width dimension of the pallet construction with the direction of pallet forming members in one said layers (11 & 12) being crossed relative to the direction of said pallet forming members in the other of said layers (13 & 14) and fastening members (17) being provided to connect together pallet forming members in each said two layers.
