    • A console box assembly (100) is provided. The console box assembly comprises: a box body (110) defining a storage volume (112); a carrier (120) pivotally coupled to the box body; an armrest (130) slideable relative to the carrier; and a latch mechanism (200) for latching the carrier to the box body to fix the position of the carrier relative to the box body, e.g. such that the carrier closes the opening into the storage volume. The latch mechanism comprises: an opening (110a) formed in an internal wall (110b) of the box body; a claw (212) movably, e.g. slideably, supported on the carrier for engaging the opening to latch the carrier to the box body; a latch actuator (216) coupled to the armrest; a rotation part (218) pivotally supported on the carrier for rotation about a rotation part axis (218a), wherein the claw is coupled the rotation part; a first actuator member (220) coupled to latch actuator, and a second actuator member (222) coupled to the rotation part, wherein the first actuator member is arranged to engage the second actuator member and urge the second actuator member to rotate the rotation part in response to actuation of the latch actuator, so that the claw disengages from the opening.

    • A main object is to improve a workability when assembling a container through an inclined slide rail such that a clearance of an upper portion of a cover is reduced. The present disclosure relates to a drawer-type storage box (2) mounted on a vehicle V including a box-shaped resin container (4) having on a top thereof an opening portion (3), a slide rail (5) that inclines relative to a width direction Y of the container (4), a bracket (6) that connects the slide rail (5) to the container (4), and a cover (7) that stores the container (4) and to which the slide rail (5) is directly or indirectly attached, wherein the container (4) has a contact surface (8) that contacts the bracket (6) and the contact surface (8) is substantially parallel to a width direction Y of the container (4), wherein a fastening member (9) mounted from the opening portion (3) side of the container (4) fastens the container (4) and the bracket (6) by the contact surface (8), and the container (4) is movable in a width direction Y relative to the bracket (6) by loosening a fastening force of the fastening member (9).

    • A console box assembly is provided. The console box assembly comprises a carrier and an armrest configured to slide relative to a carrier. The console box assembly further comprises: a rod coupled to one of the carrier and the armrest, wherein the rod is elongate in a direction in which the armrest is configured to slide relative to the carrier; and a slide lock mechanism coupled to the other of the carrier and the armrest, wherein the slide lock mechanism is configured to selectively engage the rod in order to restrict sliding of the armrest relative to the carrier, wherein the slide lock structure comprises: a first bush disposed about the rod, the first bush comprising an internal surface configurable to contact the rod, and a slope surface on opposite side of the first bush from the internal surface, a second bush configurable to engage the first bush at the slope surface in order to urge the internal surface of the first bush against the rod, an actuator to drive the second bush between a first position, in which the second bush engages the first bush and urges the internal surface of the first bush against the rod, and a second position, in which the second bush is disengaged from the first bush; and a biasing element configured to bias the second bush into the first position.
