    • A closing/opening mechanism for a window with frame hinged pivotably in a case so as to enable the window to open or close as it is pivoted in or out of the case which closing/opening mechanism has a length and a cross section making it suitable for embedding between the sides of a groove in the window frame and comprising: a pivotable connection which can activate the closing/opening mechanism; a fixed component for stationary fitting in the groove; a movable component connected to the pivotable connection such that the pivotable connection when moving between a first and a second stop position moves the movable component linearly between two outer positions. The closing/opening mechanism comprises a resilient component connected to the movable component such that the movable component causes the resilient component to be between a loaded and an unloaded state when the movable component is moved between the two outer positions which resilient component is in an unloaded state when the closing/opening mechanism is activated, whereby the closing mechanism is resiliently retained in the activated state by the resilient component.

    • The invention relates to fittings connecting at least two parallelly mounted units, one primary unit and at least one secondary unit, which fittings are constituted of at least two corresponding parts. The fittings are normally used for windows, doors and similar building parts where two parallelly mounted units increase insulation or security. The fitting connects two parallelly mounted units i.e. a primary unit and a secondary unit and comprises at least a first part, a second part and holding means, wherein:
      - the first part is attached to and is stationary relative to one parallelly mounted unit and movably supported relative to a second parallelly mounted unit;
      - the second part is attached to and is stationary relative to the second parallelly mounted unit and is in moving contact with the first part;
      - the first part comprises a piece extending between the primary and secondary parallel mounted units ensuring there is a distance between units after final assembly and during operation, and
      - the holding means are configured to maintain the defined distance in two directions,
      wherein the holding means are constructed of a magnetic or magnetized material and the contact provided between the first part and the second part during operation is maintained by magnetic force.
