Valve means (26) control the flow of liquid feed from the reservoir into the container, and upper and lower level sensors (32, 33) responsive to the level of liquid feed in the container cause the valve means (26) to open to replenish the feed when the latter drops below the lower sensor (33), the valve means being turned off when the level reaches the upper sensor (33).
