    • A coupling for connecting a charging assembly with a wet battery at the charging of the wet battery, for example a wet battery for a loading truck, comprises two coupling elements (2, 102) of which one is connected with the battery and the other is connected with the charging assembly. At the charging of the battery the coupling elements are connected with each other for connecting the battery to the charging assembly. The coupling comprises two coding pins (10, 110) positioned in one coupling element each, the coding pins being adapted to cooperate so as to prevent or allow connection of the coupling elements with each other in order to provide that only batteries and coupling assemblies which are suitable for cooperation can be connected with each other. The coupling comprises also a duct (18, 118) for gas or liquid, for example with the object of supplying air to the battery during the charging thereof. The duct (18, 118) for gas or liquid is included in the coding pins (10, 110) of the coupling.

    • A pipe joint consists of a socket and a spigot end introduced therein, a sealing ring positioned between the inner surface of the socket and the outer surface of the spigot end for sealing the space between said surfaces, and a locking device (10, 22) for preventing withdrawal of the spigot end from the socket. The locking device comprises one or several locking elements (22) positioned between the inner surface of the socket and the outer surface of the spigot end. The locking elements are adapted to prevent withdrawal of the spigot end from the socket by engaging the outer surface of the spigot end. The locking elements are at their surfaces adapted to engage the outer surface of the spigot end provided with engagement projections and/or the outer surface of the spigoto end is provided with engagement projections adapted to engage the locking elements. The engagement projections constitute a thread which makes it possible to separate the spigot end from the socket by screwing out the spigot end therefrom.

    • The present invention involves a carburetor (10) including a carburetor body (12) having a throat (34), a fuel bowl (16) connected to said carburetor body, a conduit (32) extending from said fuel bowl to said carburetor throat, a variable volume primer chamber (42,44) communicating with said bowl through a priming passage; the carburetor characterized by: an extended prime fuel chamber (62) communicating with the throat through an extended prime fuel passage (74) and communicating with the fuel bowl through a fuel fill passage (68,70). The extended prime fuel chamber delivers additional fuel from start-up through warm-up periods of the engine. The extended prime fuel chamber is arranged such that, after activation of a priming bulb, fuel from the carburetor bowl is directed into the throat through a nozzle tube and also into the extended prime fuel chamber through a prime fill passage. Once the engine fires, the fuel in the extended prime fuel chamber then is also directed into the carburetor throat through an extended prime fuel passage disposed at a lower position in the extended prime fuel chamber than the point at which the prime fill passage connects to the extended prime fuel chamber.
