摘要： An air conditioner 1 of an embodiment includes a shutoff unit 4 which is capable of shutting off a flow of a refrigerant in refrigerant piping connecting an outdoor unit 2 and an indoor unit 3 together, a power storage unit 5 which is capable of supplying power to the shutoff unit 4 in a case where supply of power from an external power source 8 is shut off, a refrigerant leakage detection unit 30a which detects a refrigerant leakage, and a power source shutoff detection unit 42a which detects that the supply of power from the external power source 8 is shut off. The shutoff unit 4 includes a shutoff valve 41 which is driven by a motor and shuts off the flow of the refrigerant in the refrigerant piping and a valve control unit 42 which controls an action of the shutoff valve 41. In a case where the refrigerant leakage is detected and a case where shutoff of the supply of power from the external power source 8 is detected, the valve control unit 42 blocks the shutoff valve 41 and makes an action speed of the shutoff valve 41 in a case where the refrigerant leakage is detected become faster than an action speed of the shutoff valve 41 in a case where the shutoff of the supply of power from the external power source 8 is detected.

摘要： A shut-off valve control device for a refrigeration cycle according to an embodiment includes: a leakage detection unit configured to detect leakage of a refrigerant that is used in a refrigeration cycle including an indoor unit and an outdoor unit; a shut-off valve which is disposed in a pipe that connects the indoor unit and the outdoor unit with each other and which can be opened and closed by supplying electric power; a power failure detection unit configured to detect a power failure in an AC power supply configured to supply electric power to the shut-off valve; a backup power supply configured to be capable of alternatively supplying power upon an occurrence of a power failure; and a shut-off valve control circuit configured to control the shut-off valve to be closed when the leakage detection unit detects leakage of the refrigerant, wherein the shut-off valve control circuit is configured to cause supply of power from the backup power supply to be started when the power failure detection unit detects a power failure and to control the shut-off valve to be closed when the power failure detection unit continues to detect a power failure even after a lapse of a certain time period.
