摘要： Ammunition containing lead has been restricted and even partially prohibited over the last few years in order to avoid health problems and environmental problems. According to the invention, ammunition that was hitherto used in manoevres and consisted of a lead core is replaced by ammunition with a tungsten core (8). Said core is produced according to a single or multistep cold pressing method, whereby a lubricant and slip additive is added to the tungsten powder core (8). Final pressing in the jacket results in a bullet (100) with a precise shape and dimensions. The inventive bullet has the same ballistic and aerodynamic properties as the bullet that is to be replaced.

摘要： Numerous work pieces, especially shaping tools, suffer from local peak stresses which results in increased wear. Locally remelting insular parts of said work pieces and/or inserting thermal implants (5) of additional materials (7) serves to improve the performance characteristics of the work pieces (1). The material gradients generated thereby permit the construction of tribological systems which are characterized by a self-forming effect. Said effect substantially increases the service life of tools and the like. Preferably, an ND:YAG laser is used in the methods for the thermal treatment of the work pieces.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing a material that consists of a metal alloy (X) which material is then shaped in the semi-solid state. According to the inventive method, the metal alloy (X) is brought to an initial temperature that is higher than the liquidus. An additional material (Z) is added which is capable of reducing the interfacial energy between the solid and the liquid phase once the metal alloy that has been mixed with the additional material (X + Z) is converted to the semi-solid state. 摘要： Conventional, unadapted means are often employed when weapons are used against bunker targets etc. The inventive device consists of a projector core (1) containing a charge of explosives (4, 3a) or an active ingredient such as a non-lethal substance. If said projector core is placed in a ballistic weapon (20), the same non-ballistic conditions as those of conventional weapons can be regulated in such a way that the drives (A), platforms and logistics thereof can be used. The way in which the police use a penetrator core (1) comprising a non-lethal active ingredient during attacks and hostage-takings etc. is of particular interest. It enables people taking cover even behind bullet-proof glass and/or walls also to be put out of action when no visual contact is available. The resulting collateral damage or danger for third parties is minimal.

摘要： To remove means of combat such as mines and unexploded ordnance increasing use is made of hollow charges. Inherent in these is the risk of triggering premature ignition since their liners contain metals. According to the invention a hollow charge (4) suitable for eliminating means of combat is configured largely free of metals and has a liner (3) made of an electrically non-conductive, amorphous material. The material of choice is glass, which when configured correspondingly in addition has a projectile-forming effect and thus raises penetration capability. Apart from lowering environmental pollution the use of metal-free devices also eliminates false alarm messages in metal detectors during mine clearance and therefore significantly improves the safety of mine clearance personnel. The support (16) carrying the hollow charge (4) is fitted with a ball joint (13, 14), resulting in high adaptability to the place of use and type of combat means (M) concerned.

摘要： Accidents frequently occur when handling conventional hand grenades as well as during their transport and/or before their use due to the fact that their safety is insufficient. A considerable improvement is effected by a fuse (1) having three safety mechanisms. When secured, a firing pin piece (22) serving as an impact hammer (21) cannot rotate since its bearing (24) is blocked on a cylinder (50).
