摘要： A heater for heating a rigid fluid line or hose for freeze protection. The heater has a base made of an outer base layer, a middle base layer attached to the outer base layer; and an inner base layer attached to the middle base layer. The inner base layer can be uncured silicone (before assembly processing). A resistance wire is wound around an electrically non-conductive core and located on the inner base layer. The resistance wire can be a high gauge wire providing for a small moment of flexure. A cover includes an inner cover layer covering said resistance wire. This inner cover layer can be uncured silicone (before assembly processing). A middle cover layer is attached to the inner cover layer, and an outer cover layer is attached to the inner cover layer. The outer cover layer protects the heater from abrasion.

摘要： An automatic fill system includes a tank, a transfer hose, and a valve assembly. The valve assembly has a first end having an outlet orifice configured to be received within the tank. The valve assembly also includes a second end configured to be connected in fluid communication with the transfer hose with the second end having an inlet orifice. The valve assembly also includes at least one fluid passageway between the inlet orifice and the outlet orifice, and a check valve coupled to a spring and a seal. The seal is configured to be slidably moveable within a piston chamber. The valve assembly further includes a heating element located within a heating element chamber and configured to heat the valve assembly. Finally, the valve assembly includes a jet level sensor with a sensor inlet and a sensor outlet. The jet level sensor is in fluid communication with the piston chamber.

摘要： A refueling system for vehicles including a dual valve receiver (14) connected in fluid communication with the fuel tank (12), and a jet sensor (16) inside of the fuel tank and in fluid communication with the receiver. The refueling system further includes a relief valve vent (18) in fluid communication with the fuel tank to vent the fuel tank and to relieve pressure that may otherwise build up inside the fuel tank during refueling. When refueling with an automatic shutoff nozzle (20), the sensor detects when a desired fuel level has been reached, and then informs the receiver to prevent fuel flow into the tank. When this occurs, the pressure inside the receiver and automatic shutoff nozzle increases, causing the nozzle to shut off automatically.

A fuel sensor funnels fuel through a fuel jet outlet orifice to form a stream of fuel across a cutout section, and a supplemental peripheral port connected between an outlet orifice mixing chamber and the interior of the tank is oriented perpendicular to the stream of fuel across the cutout section, to interfere with the stream of fuel when the sensor is submerged in fuel in the tank, to further reduce any residual fluid flow signal when the sensor is fully submerged, allowing the flow control valve in the receiver to close completely.
