摘要： This invention relates to an electrolysis method and electrolysis apparatus (10) for producing oxygenated and hydrogenated fluid. The apparatus (10) comprises first and second outer end members (12 and 14), both being of polyethylene and at least two spaced apart permeable electrodes (16 and 18). The permeable electrode (16 and 18) are each of a foraminous or perforated material, such as nickel foam sheet material. The two permeable electrodes (16 and 18) are arranged generally parallel to one another and are relatively closely spaced from one another. An inlet chamber (20) is therefore defined between the first and second permeable electrodes (16 and 18). A first oxygenated fluid collection chamber (22) is disposed between the first permeable electrode (16) and the first end member (12) and a second hydrogenated fluid collection chamber (24) is disposed between the second permeable electrode (18) and the second end member (14).

摘要： An apparatus for electrophoresis comprises a base incorporating an integral or separable tray defining a plurality of parallel troughs into which IPG strips may be placed is disclosed. The apparatus further includes a lid. The lid has a top and depending sides and is configured to fit over the base. The lid defines at least one opposed pair of depending electrodes, and also, spaced inwardly of the electrodes relative to the sides of the lid, a pair of opposed depending members for applying pressure to IPG strips located in use, in troughs of the tray. In a variant the lid provides individually addressable electrodes for each of the grooves in the tray wherein the lower edge of the depending electrode bars and the IPG holder bars are all crenellated. In this manner, the lid of the cassette provides an individual pair of opposed electrodes for each of the IPGs running in the tray, and the voltage between each of the pairs of electrodes can be controlled independently of the voltage between other opposed electrode pairs.

摘要： Disclosed is an electrochemical installation, the application of which is the electrochemical processing of aqueous solutions and the production of gases. The invention owes its simplicity of structure to the creation of a spiral motion of electrolytes within the electrode chambers, by means of the presence of inclined canals and spiral-shaped guiding elements in the bushings. The installation creates a new property, consisting in the prolonged action of the electrolysis process on the aqueous solutions being treated. During operation of the installation, the initial solution passes into the pipes (4, 5) of the lower bushing (3), where the presence of the spiral-shaped guiding elements (13, 15) generates the spiral motion of the electrolytes, said motion being maintained in the electrode chambers (30, 29). At the end of the electrochemical process, the resultant solutions and gases pass into the upper bushing (7) where, under the effect of the spiral motion, they are drawn off from the corresponding chambers through outlet pipes (9, 8).
