The manufacturing method comprising: forming the first film layer of an amorphous alloy (MG) having a super-cooling liquid phase onto a master transfer surface (1a) of a master die (4) for molding a molding transfer surface of the die; heating the first film layer more than a glass transition point of the amorphous alloy (MG) having the super-cooling liquid phase while a surface of the first film layer and a transferred surface of a base material of the die being faced and pressed; and peeling the first film layer from the master die and transferring the first film layer onto the base material of the die to form the molding transfer surface of the die.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for making high purity and preferably oxygen free substantially void free and inclusion free copper castings, useful to make sputtering targets. The method comprises melting high purity copper in a covered crucible (17) provided with a reducing gas and insulation, using a coil induction fournace (11). The furnace and crucible, which is disposed between the coil of the furnace and contains molten copper, are positioned above a cooling jacket (23) and the crucible passed continuously downwardly through the opening (27) in the cooling jacket cooling the lower portion of the crucible. A reduced heat is maintained in the furnace to heat the upper poriton of the crucible within the coil and maintain a layer of molten copper over the copper solidifying in the lower portion.

At this time, it is preferable to connect a pressure reduction pump (12) and a pressurized gas supply source (13) to the casting chamber (1), make a gas supply pressure P 1 having a controlled pressure larger than a gas pressure P 2 required for casting, and shut off the supply of the pressurized gas at a time of getting to the gas pressure P 2 .
