摘要： Described herein is an LED module (500) and a method of mounting secondary lens arrays over light-emitting diode arrays on a printed circuit board to form such an LED module. In the LED module (500), a lens array assembly (400) is mounted to a printed circuit board (110). The lens array assembly (400) comprises a silicone free form lens array (210) which is mounted in a lens holder (410) by aligning markings on the lens holder with markings on the free form lens array to engage a pin on the free form array with a corresponding aperture in the lens holder. The lens array assembly (400) is correctly positioned, in an x-y plane, on the printed circuit board (110) by the engagement of positioning pins formed on a surface of the free form lens array with corresponding recesses formed in the printed circuit board and is retained in the correct position by clips (450, 460) integrally formed with the lens holder (410) which extend through respective apertures (250, 260) in the free form lens array (210) and into corresponding holes (150, 160) formed in the printed circuit board (110). The positioning pins are shaped to allow for thermal changes due to the operating temperature range of the LED module (500).

摘要： A thermosyphon light engine (100) and luminaire (600) including the same are provided. The light engine (100) includes a condenser (104), an evaporation chamber (102), and a connecting element therebetween (106,108). The condenser (104) returns a gaseous substance located therein to a liquid substance. The evaporation chamber (102) includes a solid state light source (112), a working liquid (120), and an optical element (110) that beam shapes light emitted by the at least one solid state light source (112). The solid state light source (112) is immersed in the working liquid (120), such that heat generated by the solid state light source (112) changes the working liquid (120) into a gaseous substance. The gaseous substance travels through the connecting element (106,108) to the condenser (104), which returns the gaseous substance to a liquid substance. The liquid substance then travels through the connecting element (106,108) back to the evaporation chamber (102).

摘要： The present invention relates to an easily expandable indoors LED lighting device, comprising: a fixing bar which is installed on a ceiling; first and second electrode bars, which are provided on a rear surface of the fixing bar; a socket which is provided at the center of the fixing bar that is provided with the first and second electrode bars; and a bell-shaped reflective portion, which is coupled to the socket, for providing power from the first and second electrode bars to a substrate on the inside of which an LED is mounted. The present invention is lightweight, can be directly installed on the ceiling by coupling, and enables expanded installation of the lighting device that is modularized in accordance with the surface area of the ceiling, thereby providing the advantage of easy installation.

摘要： A design of lighting fixture is presented whereby the outer glass lens—flat in prior art lighting fixtures—is bowed outward. The design of lighting fixture permits a plurality of LED modules to be contained therein, each with their own visor, without constraining the aiming angle of each due to interference between the outer lens and each individual visor. In this manner, an external visor may be omitted thereby obviating undesirable lighting effects such as uneven lighting while still maintaining a reduced effective projected area (EPA) as compared to prior art lighting fixtures with no external visor and a flat outer glass lens.
