摘要： The invention provides various configurations, apparatus, methods and systems for anti-theft protection of information storage media generally comprising locking the media between opposing pieces that must be decoupled before the media may be used. In one embodiment, media packaging is equipped with a locking device (30). The locking device (30) includes a head (36) that is connected to a base (38) by a stem (40). The head includes an engagement surface beneath which a locking hub mechanism (32) is locked. The mechanism includes spring loaded locking members (78) that are biased towards a locking hub center. The locking device (30) is unlocked by a release device (200) which forces the locking members away from the locking hub center, thereby disengaging the locking hub (32) from the post (34).

The lower lock receiving members of both the top and bottom covers include hooks for receiving and maintaining a latch. A lock for the storage case includes first and second catch mechanisms with first and second catches. To lock the storage case, the lock is inserted into the combined lock insertion path so that the catches on the lock mate with and are retained with the hooks in the top and bottom covers.

An element is provided on or in the anti-theft box for wireless activation of an alarm device if the anti-theft box is carried through the exit of the shop or the department store. A lock mechanism is provided on the inside of the lid, which includes a lock slide (15) provided with lock bolts (16), which can be displaced in plane parallel fashion in order to bring the lock bolts into and out of locking engagement with the cassette (10). A latch mechanism (36) is provided to latch, in an engaged position thereof, the lock slide with the lock bolts in engaged position and can be actuated to disengaged position by means of a special tool to allow displacement of the lock bolts from the engaged position.

摘要： A secure entry system (10, 44, 50, 60) makes use of radio transmissions to communicate with locks (12, 12'), keys (46), and related components throughout the system. The radio transmissions can be made using a paging system, a cellular telephone system (52, 54), or any other RF carrier (26).
