摘要： The invention provides a fastening body which can mount a sheet-like fastening body to a sheet-like mounting body having various kinds of cross-sectional shapes with no play and can securely engage a surface fastener of a product to which a female surface fastener is mounted, with an engaging surface including male engaging elements of the sheet-like fastening body mounted to the mounting body. In a fastening body (1) for a sheet member structured such as to be fitted and fixed to fitting groove portions (2c) of a mounting body (2) so as to bond and fix various kinds of sheet member, each of the fitting groove portions (2c) having a generally C-shaped cross section formed with openings along both end edges of a widthwise direction, the fastening body (1) has at least a protrusion (5) having a height substantially equal to a height of the opening of the fitting groove portion (2c) including a thickness of the flat substrate (3) and extending in parallel to the fitting groove portions (2c) at least at a center portion in a widthwise direction on a surface opposite to a surface from which male engaging elements (4) of the flat substrate (3) are protruded. Accordingly, it is possible to mount the sheet-like fastening body (1) with no play even when the fastening body (1) is thinner than a height of the opening of the fitting groove portion (2c), and the protrusions (5) can support the fastening body (1) in a horizontal state against an external pressing force.

摘要： An enhanced flexibility fastener product (30) has a base (35) and hook elements (34a, 34b, 34c) integrally molded with and extending from the base (35). Hump-shaped formations (36a, 36b, 36c) (referred to as 'rip stops'), that are integrally molded with base (35), are offset relative to the hook elements to reduce widthwise stiffness of the fastener product (30). The edge margins (31) of the fastener (30) are feathered in that they taper or otherwise reduce in thickness over an extended distance, preferably from at or near the hooks (34a, 34b, 34c) to the edge, resulting in a softer, less irritating fastener tape (30). Fasteners products according to the invention are particularly advantageous on disposable absorbent garments (10) such as diapers, sanitary napkins, and other articles of wear which come into contact with the user's skin.
