    • A modular wall system (10) including a plurality of wall panels (50, 51) removably attached between a floor and a ceiling by a head track assembly (11) and a floor track assembly (12) respectively. The wall panels (50,51) include a core material (18) covered on each face by a thin metal skin (28) and are of sufficient strength and rigidity to allow their placement between the head and floor track assemblies (11,12) without the requirement of stud members or the like. The head track (11) and the floor track (12) assemblies both comprise gasket elements (15) which prevent the passage of microcontamination around the panel members (90), and the side surfaces of each panel member (90) contains a gasket (15) which abuts and seals against an adjacent panel member to prevent the flow of microcontaminants around the sides of the panel. The floor track assembly (12) also comprises a fastening member (35) which securely holds the bottom of the wall panel to prevent relative movement therewith. The floor track assembly (12) also includes alignment screws (42) which allow the floor track to be leveled, regardless of the unevenness of the floor it is placed upon, thereby insuring automatic alignment of the well panels (90) when placed thereon and insuring complete sealing between adjacently mounted panels. The floor track assembly (12) can also include a U-shaped cradle (61) which allows for more secure attachment of the floor track assembly (12) to the floor. The present wall system can be used for cleanroom construction, or may be used for other types of construction such as office space or the like.

    • A non-progressive wall system (1) is composed of versatile and interchangeable panels (3) and other components. The wall system panels may be opaque (5) or transparent (7). The panels comprise superstructures that are pivotable about base assemblies. In the vertical attitude, the tops of the superstructures are releasably coupled to ceiling rails by upper glide assemblies. The panels are rigidly interconnected to each other by panel connectors that slide within the superstructures between storage and installed positions. The wall system further comprises corner posts that provide two, three, or four way junctions for the panels. A door module may be installed at any desired location in the wall system. Decorative covers over the working parts provide a neat and attractive appearance.

    • An arrangement for a wall, for example for dividing up a room or for constructing an exhibition stand or a reception kiosk, etc. The arrangement comprises a number of preferably individually executed, mutually interchangeable panel sheets (1). These are so arranged as to be secured by means of connecting elements (2, 3) designed to engage on the opposing edges (17) of adjacent panel sheets. Characteristic features of the invention are that the panel sheets (1) are executed along at least two opposing edges (17) with longitudinal channels (5), and that the aforementioned connecting elements, which are at least two in number on the edge of each panel sheet, are so arranged as to connect the panel sheets (1) with a space (18) relative to one another and are executed with internal opposing grooves (6). When the connecting elements (2) are installed between the two panelsheets (1), the grooves (6) will coincide with the channels (5), so that a strip-shaped decorative element (16) can be inserted in the channels (5) and the grooves (6) and can occupy said space (18).
