The use of synthetic hook and loop attachment systems affords significant savings in time, labour, and frequently in materials, particularly in the temporary formwork application.

摘要： A modular wall system (10) including a plurality of wall panels (50, 51) removably attached between a floor and a ceiling by a head track assembly (11) and a floor track assembly (12) respectively. The wall panels (50,51) include a core material (18) covered on each face by a thin metal skin (28) and are of sufficient strength and rigidity to allow their placement between the head and floor track assemblies (11,12) without the requirement of stud members or the like. The head track (11) and the floor track (12) assemblies both comprise gasket elements (15) which prevent the passage of microcontamination around the panel members (90), and the side surfaces of each panel member (90) contains a gasket (15) which abuts and seals against an adjacent panel member to prevent the flow of microcontaminants around the sides of the panel. The floor track assembly (12) also comprises a fastening member (35) which securely holds the bottom of the wall panel to prevent relative movement therewith. The floor track assembly (12) also includes alignment screws (42) which allow the floor track to be leveled, regardless of the unevenness of the floor it is placed upon, thereby insuring automatic alignment of the well panels (90) when placed thereon and insuring complete sealing between adjacently mounted panels. The floor track assembly (12) can also include a U-shaped cradle (61) which allows for more secure attachment of the floor track assembly (12) to the floor. The present wall system can be used for cleanroom construction, or may be used for other types of construction such as office space or the like.

摘要： A demountable partitioning system comprises multipurpose aluminium extrusions adapted to be snap-fitted together in a number of different configurations to suit different constructional and system design requirements. The system centres around two universal sections (FW1.FW11) each in the form of a rectangular channel open at one side and provided with formations (3,4,5) enabling other extrusions selected from a glazing infill section (FW3), a blank end section (FW4), and a door infill section (FW5) each provided with complementary formations (8,10) to be snap-fitted onto one or more sides of the universal section (FW1,FW11). Extruded aluminium or plastics glazing channels (FW6,FW7,FW8) capable of engaging with a number of different glazing beads (FG) can be snap-fitted with the universal sections (FW1,FW11) and with the glazing infill (FW3) for assembling single or double glazing as desired to the universal sections (FW1, FW11). The universal sections (FW1,FW11) also can engage with wall panels of a partitioning installation. Fixing clips (FS1,FS2,FS3 and FS4) are disclosed which enable gapless panel joints to be made, and the system further includes corner and reducing sections (FW9,FW10) and wiring ducting sections (FW13, FW14,FW15). The system is cost advantageous, can be installed quickly and is readily demountable and reusable, and requires a minimum of secondary fixings (screws, bolts, etc.).
