Durch die kreuzweise Anordnung ergibt sich eine hohe Stabilität und durch die parallele Anordnung ist die Holzbautafel in Querrichtung dicht.
Der konstruktive Aufbau der Holzbautafel ermöglicht die Verwendung vergleichsweise kleinformatiger Leisten oder Bretter und somit eine kostengünstige Restholzverwertung.
Die Holzbautafel (1) kann als tragendes Wand-, Decken- oder Bedachungselement eingesetzt werden. Die Holzbautafel kann in einer Vormontagestellung auch in einer Flachseitenebene aufgeteilt sein, wobei dann die Teiltafeln aus jeweils einem Teil der Schichten der Holzbautafel bestehen. Die Teiltafeln werden am Montageort flachseitig zueinander gewandt montiert und bilden dann zusammen wieder eine Holzbautafel. Diese Ausbildung ist insbesondere beim Erstellen von Trennwänden vorteilhaft.

Der Rahmen ist mit einer Befestigungsvorrichtung ausgerüstet, die aus Federstahl-Draht ausgeführt ist. Das technische Ergebnis der Erfindung ist die Erhöhung der Wärmedämmung des Gebäudes.
