The diamine lubricants are prepared without the neutralization thereof and have a corrosion inhibitor which is, preferably, a reducing agent and a biocide incorporated thereinto. A source of alkalinity may be employed, as well, to maintain the pH above 8.

摘要： A lubricating oil composition for internal combustion engines is provided consisting of a base oil principally consisting of a hydrocarbon oil which has a dynamic viscosity of 2-20 mm 2 /s at 100°C and contains 3 wt% or less aromatic components in total, 45 wt% or more one- and two-ring naphthenes in total, 50 wt ppm or less sulfur and 50 wt ppm or less nitrogen, to which are added, with respect to the total weight of the composition, 0.02-0.2 wt% as molybdenum of molybdenum dithiocarbamate, 0.02-0.15 wt% as phosphorus of zinc dithiophosphate, and 0.05-3 wt% of phenol-based antioxidant. The lubricating oil composition according to the invention has a low friction coefficient, which is maintained for a prolonged period even after oxidation by nitrogen oxides.

摘要： A lubricating oil for plastic working contains a powder of a compound having a urea bond incorporated therein. The lubricating oil forms a thick lubricating coating having excellent thermal resistance and loading resistance on the frictional surface during working by simply applying it on the surface of a material or a mold and, therefore, effectively prevents occurrence of seizing, even in the production of moldings having a high degree of working or complex shapes. The plastic worked product has a coating of the lubricating oil on its surface which provides an excellent anticorrosive effect for steel stocks. The oil may also contain at least one extreme-pressure additive selected from: (1) condensed phosphoric acid, (2) phosphite and phosphate esters, (3) organic sulfur compounds, and (4) organic chlorine compounds. t

摘要： Lubricating and functional fluid compositions are described which comprise at least one oil of lubricating viscosity and an extreme-pressure and friction-modifying amount of (A) at least one phosphite ester characterized by the formula (I) wherein R1 is a straight-chain hydrocarbyl group and R2 is a branched-chain hydrocarbyl group. The invention also relates to compositions which comprise the combination of such phosphite esters as represented by Formula I and various sulfur-containing compositions. The compositions comprising said combinations also are useful in lubricating and functional fluid compositions including lubricating oils and greases. Aqueous systems containing the phosphite esters represented by Formula I as well as combinations of phosphite esters with sulfur-containing compositions also are described.

(ii) at least one polyamine containing one primary amino group and from 1 to about 6 secondary amino groups.
