摘要： A medical supply support of the type intended for housing different types of instruments and to supply intakes of different fluids as well as for electric power. The support is constituted of a head (1) provided with means for fixing the head to the ceiling of the room where it is incorporated, a head to which a first horizontal arm (3) is hinged, and to this arm, another or more also horizontal and hinged arms (3), the last of which is finished in a vertical and telescopic connection (5) connecting said arms to a vertically elongated container (6) susceptible to being adapted in both this direction and in the transversal direction and with any orientation. Both the head and the arms, the hinge joints (4) between them and the vertical and telescopic connection (5) are hollow, permitting passage through them of the channels corresponding to the different connections for fluids, electricity or others from the ceiling of the room.

摘要： Supportive structure to be attached to a ceiling of a hospital room for supporting hospital equipment. The supporting structure comprises beams attached to the ceiling and forming a rectangular space. Inside the space, there are non-interchangeable gas connectors attached to a gas supply of the hospital and a gas-tight electric box comprising terminals connected to the electric supply of the hospital. The equipment is mounted on support plates, which in turn are supported by support profiles attached to beams. The equipment is connected to the non-interchangeable gas connectors inside the space. Gas-tight hoses are provided between the electric box and the equipment for enclosing the electric wires between the terminals of the electric box and the equipment. In this way separate gas-tight passages are provided for the electric wires, avoiding hazard risks. The support plates support medical support service units for intensive care rooms forming a support structure for equipment necessary close to the bed in an intensive care room, such as a monitor (90), suction units (97), blood pressure monitors. The service unit is a rectangular frame (85, 86, 87, 88) supported by a pivotable arm (82, 83, 80) and a bearing (84), in order to extend essentially vertically from the arm and downwards to adjacent the floor. The rectangular space is sufficiently open for allowing sight through the frame for supervision of the patient. The space outside the vertical beams is free for service staff to work. The service unit can also be supported by a stand including wheels.

摘要： A pendant assembly is disclosed for suspending from a hospital room ceiling to provide various services used in a hospital operating room. The pendant has a distribution head 20 with outlets 22, 24, 26 for such services, including, for example, electrical, gas and vacuum outlets and which is moveable upwardly and downwardly through a motive means operated by personnel using the pendant. An automatic stop mechanism is included and which comprises one or more sets of electrical contacs 58, 60 interposed between upper and lower housings 34, 28 in the distribution head 20. The lower housing 28 is suspended from the upper housing 34 at a predetermined distance therefrom and is moveable over that predetermined distance with respect to the upper housing 34. When the distribution head 20 is lowered such that is encounters an obstruction, the lower housing 28 is forced upwardly and the contacts 58, 60 between the housings contact each other to complete an electrical circuit 62. That circuit 62 immediately disables the motive means to prevent that motive means from further lowering the distribution head 20 so that damage to the distribution head and the obstruction is minimized. Also, a visual indicator 70 may be included to alert the personnel that the obstruction has been encountered.
