    • The present invention relates to a connector assembly (1) for fastening a structural member (2) to a supporting member (4). The connector assembly (1) comprises a bracket member (6) comprising a first lateral flange (10) which is to be fastened to a first lateral surface of the structural member (2), a second lateral flange (14) which is to be fastened to a second lateral surface of the structural member (2) and is substantially parallel to the first lateral flange (10), and a lateral flange joining portion (16) which, starting at end portions of the first and second lateral flanges (10, 14), is arranged substantially perpendicular to the first and second lateral flanges (10, 14) and is connected thereto along first and second connection zones (17, 19). The lateral flange joining portion (16) extends between the first and second lateral flanges (10, 14) and below and/or beyond the first and second connection zones (17, 19).
      The present invention also relates to a connection between a structural member (2) and a supporting member (4) formed using the connector assembly (1), and also to a method of forming such a connection.

    • A novel workpiece engaging nose body (20) for holding a screwstrip (14) having screws (16) held in a strap (13) is provided. The workpiece engaging nose body includes a nose portion (24) and a rear portion (22) with the nose portion slidably mounted on the rear portion for movement rearwardly when the nose is urged into a workpiece to drive a screw. An exitway (87) is defined between the nose portion and rear portion through wich spent strap from wich screws have been driven exit the nose body. On urging the nose body into the workpiece, the nose portion slides rearwardly to engaged the strap in the exitway and move it rearwardly into engagement with the rear portion in the exitway. The strap is preferably "pinched" in the exitway between the nose portion and rear portion to assist in locating a screw to be driven from the nose body.

    • A connection is created between a first member (1) and a second member (2). The connector used to join the first and second members (1, 2) includes the following members:
      an attachment member (6), a plurality of fasteners (7) that are received by the attachment member (6), and an anchor member (8) that is also received by the attachment member (6).
