摘要： There is provided mechanisms for configuring an antenna system having individual antenna elements arranged in at least two antenna subarrays. Each pair of antenna subarrays has a respective first spatial separation. Each pair of the individual antenna elements has a respective second spatial separation. A method is performed by a network device. The method includes obtaining channel measurements for each of the at least two antenna subarrays. Channel covariance information between the subarrays using the obtained channel measurements is determined. Channel covariance information between all individual antenna elements of the antenna system is determined by interpolating the channel covariance information between the subarrays according to a spatial relation between all first spatial separations and all second spatial separations. Combining of the individual antenna elements of the antenna system is controlled based on the determined channel covariance information between all the individual antenna elements.

摘要： There is provided mechanisms for beam forming using an antenna array comprising dual polarized elements. A method comprises generating one or two beam ports, wherein the one or two beam ports are defined by combining at least two non-overlapping subarrays. Each subarray has two subarray ports, the two subarray ports having identical power patterns and mutually orthogonal polarization. The at least two non-overlapping subarrays are combined via expansion weights. The expansion weights map the one or two beam ports to subarray ports such that the one or two beam ports have the same power pattern as the subarrays. At least some of the expansion weights have identical non-zero magnitude and are related in phase to form a transmission lobe. The method comprises transmitting signals using said one or two beam ports.

摘要： The invention provides a method for self-interference suppression in a multi-antenna device that is part of a communication channel between a transmitter and a receiver of a wireless communication system. The self-interference channel is defined by a self-interference channel matrix wherein the method comprises the steps of: • quipping the multi-antenna device with at least three antennas and; • suppressing the self-interference channel by using at least one filtering matrix arrangement being inserted between the antennas and the relay unit. The invention also provides a node in a wireless communication system comprising the multi-antenna device for self-interference suppression in the multi-antenna device module that is part of a communication channel.
