摘要： A light source apparatus emits light image information. A reflective layer (25) is formed on a planarization film (16) formed on a metal substrate. LED thin films are arranged in a matrix having columns extending in first directions and rows extending in second directions perpendicular to the first directions, the LED thin films being bonded to the reflective layer (25) by means of intermolecular force. 摘要： A fixing apparatus operates to fix a toner image on a recording medium. A heating member (11) extends in a first direction transverse to a second direction in which a recording medium travels for fixing. A belt (28) contacts the heater member (11) to form a fixing region (N) between the belt and the heating member (11). A pressure member (14, 34) presses the belt (28) against the heating member (11). A pressing mechanism (13, M1-M8) engages the pressure member to apply a predetermined pressure to the pressure member toward the fixing region (N) in such a way that the pressure has a predetermined profile of distribution in the first direction. The pressing mechanism may be a rotatable member. When the rotatable member rotates, the surface of the rotatable member moves into pressure contact engagement with the pressure member (14, 34).

A thermal expansion buffer layer is interposed between the thin-film semiconductor element and the plastic substrate. Although the thin-film semiconductor element is made from a material with a thermal expansion coefficient differing from the thermal expansion coefficient of the plastic substrate, the thermal expansion buffer layer interposed between the thin-film semiconductor element, and the plastic substrate protects the thin-film semiconductor element from damage caused by mechanical stress in the device fabrication process due to the different thermal expansion coefficients, enabling the semiconductor device to function reliably.
