摘要： A non-lethal projectile or a projectile for delivery of a substance (optional) has a tubular body casing (1) which surrounds a compartment (2) for containment of the substance. The compartment (2) coaxially supports a hollow tube (5) projecting forward within an ogival nose cap (8). An inflatable membrane (7) is located within the nose cap (8). On target impact the nose is displaced and permits a small amount of substance from compartment (2) to bleed through opening (6) allowing piston (4) to move forward uncovering ports (16). This action allows pressure gas to pass through the ports (16) and ducts to inflate the membrane (7). The piston is also free to move forward to discharge the substance through needle (5).The bag (7) thus expands rapidly and prevents excess penetration whilst spreading the impact energy over a wide area. The construction avoids the need for a charge to be contained within the projectile itself.

摘要： A valve assembly (1) has a body (2) with a through bore in which a closure member (8) is slidably mounted. 摘要： An injection moulding method provides products with excellent transcription and gloss level. Immediately after a resin is injected into a die cavity (1), carbon dioxide gas is injected to move back the surface skin layer to form a space (13) between the resin and the die surface (1) whereby growth of the skin layer is slowed down. At the same time the carbon dioxide is dissolved in the skin layer producing a lowering of the glass transition point. The skin layer is then again closely cohered to the surface of the die by increasing the applied pressure on the resin and the die is then cooled to set the moulded product under the holding pressure. Products with excellent transcription and gloss level of surface can be obtained.

The layers are adhesive bonded together. The abrasion resiant layer may comprise 25 % Kevlar ; 5 % Lycra and 70 % polyamide. The material is particularly robust for use in aggressive environments such as caving.

摘要： The use of des-Aspartate-angiotensin I (Arg-Val-Tyr-Ile-His-Pro-Phe-His-Leu) as an anti-cardiac hypertrophic agent is described. The compound, given either intravenously or orally, prevented the development of experimentally-induced cardiac hypertrophy in rats. Its action was dose-dependent and the maximum anti-cardiac hypertrophic effect was obtained at a dose of (i) 180 mg/day when given intravenously, and (ii) 285 mg/day when given orally.
