    • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Seitenzwickmaschine, bei welcher der Zwickrand (48) im Seitenbereich des auf einem auf einem Leistenträger (2) ortsfest angeordneten Leisten (1) aufgezogenen, vorzugsweise bereits spitzengezwickten Schuhschaftes nacheinander auf die auf dem vorzugsweise nach oben gekehrten Leistenboden (50) angeordnete Brandsohle (51) umgelegt, dann mittels einer rotierend angetriebenen Andrückschnecke (17) in Richtung der Leistenlängsachse gezogen und dann mittels Tackseinschlageinrichtung (44) auf der Brandsohle festgelegt wird, wobei die Einrichtung (52) zum Umlegen des Zwickrandes, die Andrückschnecke und die Tackseinschlageinrichtung in geringem Abstand hintereinander und vorzugsweise gemeinsam als Seitenzwickeinrichtung (3) längs der Leistenrandkontur unter Andrücken mit elastischer Kraft an die Brandsohle bewegbar sind. Zur Verbesserung des Zwickergebnisses wird mit der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß die Einrichtung zum Umlegen des Zwickrandes ein über Umlenkrollen (23) geführtes, in im wesentlichen quer zum Leisten liegender Bandrichtung kontinuierlich antreibbares, endloses Überschiebeband (24) aufweist.
